Weekend Wrap-up - GSU Lake Weekend

Monday.... Monday... Monday!  Why does it always feel that the Mondays you come back from a great/relaxing weekend or a long weekend in my case work is just a little crazy that day!!

Friday was the most productive day I have had in a long time.  I took the day off and had my AC fixed (it broke wednesday and had to finishes one thing on it in the morning, then went up the Athens and got my car radio installed, which now I have bluetooth (I am a safe driver now), satellite radio and an iPod plug for my long drives that he and I will be taking the next few months to Statesboro and back for football games.  But on to the good stuff!!!

Koozie image I had made for the weekend
This past weekend I had my Georgia Southern friends over for a lake weekend.  We celebrated four birthdays (Nick: July 4th, Bryan: July 23rd, Alex: July 26th, and Michale's July 30th) (phew!) this past weekend.  We all got together on Friday-Sunday and had an olympic/adult field day weekend.

We watched the 2012 London Olympic Opening Ceremonies, hung out, and had a few drinks before the real party was going to started.  All day Saturday and Sunday we woke up, threw our bathing suits on floated, drank and rode on the jet-ski for 6ish hours a day.  While between for lunch and dinner we watched the Olympics and Braves baseball (who is on a 6 game winning streak) and talked about the up-coming football season!  We all totally missed Cara and TJ this weekend, but we will all be together 33 days from now at our favorite place, Paulson Stadium in Statesboro Georgia.  Its like Bryan said it was very relaxing not having to worry about what time we got up, when we were going to eat dinner or who was driving to the bar since we all stayed put at the house all weekend.

Can't wait to have everyone over again, it was such a great weekend with wonderful friends.

Hope everyone's Monday is going all right and that they had a relaxing weekend!

Widespread Wednesday 7.25.12 (50th Post!!!)

Happy Wednesday!  I do not think that today could of been any busier at work.  I am not sure what is going on in the print world but I am not complaining with being busy.  It makes the day go by so much faster.  So some of the things that I am I am wild about this week are:

Eric Church:  I am not sure how many of you all are Country music fans but I am crazy about Eric Church.  I have been in love with him since I heard the song Carolina.  But this summer I have falling in love with the song Springsteen.  There is just something about the song that whenever I hear it I have to turn the radio up and sing as loud as I can (even at work).

Then we have Justin Bieber.  Boyfriend is my second favorite song this summer.  I am not sure what it is about this song but I love it.  I am not a Justin Bieber fan by any means, but this song is just so gosh darn catchy, and it probably does not help that they play it every day 3 times a day on my Pandora radio station.  Oh and I make sure that I tweet Bryan every time I hear the song, because I know that it drives him crazy every time I listen to it.

So as any southern girl I am crazy about Turvis Tumblers.  I have a handful of different colors, sports teams and of course with my monogram on it.  But while Bryan and I were at Cracker Barrel I saw this one and I just feel like I need to have it.  But of course all they had were the little coffee mugs so I hopefully I can find it at another store or online in the next few weeks.  If anyone knows where I can find the Republican Turvis please let me know!  I can say that I need it, not want it!!

Lastly I am Olympic CRAZY!!!  I feel like I have been blogging about the olympics since we were about 100 days away.  I am almost as crazy about the Olympics as I am about Georgia Southern Football!!  I think I am just sports crazy.  This morning while I was watching the Today Show and they were showing all of the London venues and interviewing some of the US athletics; and it made me think about when my family and I went to the Olympics games when they were in Atlanta.  I remember going to the Track and Field events, Men's basketball and Women Gymnastics lie it was yesterday.  I like to think of it as a once in a lifetime experience.  I was secretly wishing that Chicago was going to win an olympic bid a few years ago so that I can go again and experience the olympics all over again as an adult.

This weekend Bryan and I are having an Olympic themed party for the opening ceremonies ad 4 birthdays!  We will be celebrating with an "Adult Field Day" at the lake and over the weekend!  I should be a great weekend with friends and the olympics ideas!

Hope everyone is having a great Wednesday!  Tomorrow is my Friday and will be preparing for a fun filled weekend!

Bryan's Birthday Weekend!

Hey Y'all.  Hope everyone is having a GREAT Tuesday afternoon and that everyone is staying out of the heat most of the US is dealing with.  I really think that down in Georgia the past week has been the worse with the humidity.  I can not walk out-side without sweating. It is horribly gross and I can not wait for more "fall" like temperatures!

So last weekend we celebrated Byran's 27th birthday.  Him and I went to Atlanta for the weekend.  On Friday night him and I went to PF Chang's at the Mall of Georgia for dinner.  I have not been there in the longest time.  I have to say the food and service was wonderful.  I guess I get excited when I get to go to restaurants like that because I have such a small selection in the town I am in.

On Saturday I had a not-so fun appointment for 4 hours (YES 4 HOURS) at the dentist while Bryan slept in at my parents house.  Then we ran around town and did some shopping around the mall area.  Then we finally made it to Kelly's house warming party.  I am in LOVE with Kelly's new house.  She did such an awesome job doing her re-modeling and decorating.  I felt like I was walking into a show room in everyone she showed us.  After her party I dragged Bryan to have dinner at Taco Mac (my favorite restaurant in the Atlanta area) with one of my sorority sisters, Bridget.  After a 3ish hour's a handful of drinks and food being eaten we finally made it home.  I am pretty sure the constant flow of alcohol helped with the pain in my mouth and teeth.

Sunday was the biggest day for birthday celebration.  We started the day with a wonderful trip to Waffle House with my parents.  ** Non-southerner alert ** come to find out my parents have only been to waffle house 3-5 times since moving to Georgia... we have lived here for almost 20 years.  After breakfast I surprised Bryan to a trip to the Georgia Aquarium.  I felt like a parent on Christmas day when a child opens gifts for the first time that is how excited he was about going.  He has been talking about going to the Aquarium as long as we have been dating.  This has been one of the best days that him and I have had since we started dating.  We went to all 5 of the worlds the Georgia Aquarium offers.  The best was when we went into the Ocean Explorer area and got to watch how they fed the whale sharks and the look on Bryan's face when your face to face with the huge glass wall and you can see the fish in their natural habitat.  We got to see the dolphin tales show, which reminded me something you would see at Sea World.  Their was lights, singing, dancing and flipping dolphins.  It was really cool to see and it was new to me seeing it, since I had been to the aquarium before.  The part I like the most at the aquarium is the coral reef area.  They have an area where you can sit and watch a "barrier reef" with all the fish.  The colors on these animals are so bright and vibrant, and what makes it more "life-like" is that they have a wave machine that moves the water like the fish are still in ocean.  It is all such a cool sight to see, especially if you have never been to the Georgia Aquarium before.  After the Aquarium we took the scenic route home.  Took Peachtree to Piedmont, passed the park and made our way over to Lenox Mall and then took 141 all the way to John's Creek.  I would highly recommend going to the Aquarium for anyone young or old!  It was such a great way to get out of the heat also.

Finally (its been a 3 day celebration) last night for Bryan real birthday, I had cup-cakes delivered to him from Sliver Lining Bakery in Athens.  And for a celebration last night we went to dinner and a movie at Lake Oconee.  We saw The Dark Knight Rises.  It was really good for a comic book movie (which is sometimes hard for me to say since I am not a movie and or comic book person).  The movie ending also left it open for a sequel which I would probably go see if and when that does come out.

I hope he has a much fun as I did this past weekend!  And I can not wait until next weekend when we have the 1st annual Lake Sinclair Olympics at the house!  It's going to be so much fun!

Widespread Wednesday 7.18.12

Hey Y'all!  Happy Wednesday night!  I feel like this past week I have been slacking on my blogging.  I have been so busy at work and in personal life my head is just spinning in different directions.  It is Wednesday and these are thing things that I am wild about and has brought a smile to my face!

So I have a new guilty pleasure on TV.  I am sure that by watching this show I am promoting horrible behavior by kids and it is called  Cheer Perfection on TLC.  You know the great channel that brought us Toddlers and Tiaras and Sister Wives.  Since only watching the one and only episode (so far this summer), it is about a southern cheerleading gym and forming the perfect cheerleading squads.  After watching the show, it looks like we will be watching a lot of young tween crying and their "cheer" mom's bitching and or complaining about not making the team.  I am sure that I will be drawn all season since there is nothing good on TV over the summer.

The next thing that has made me smile was listening to some old school Matt Nathanson that I found on my Ipod.  I was listening to my personal favorite album by him Still Waiting For Spring (1999).  That one album made me fall in love with Matt Nathanson.  This one album has some of my favorite songs that I can listen to over and over again.  I have been the biggest fan of Matt Nathanson's since I heard this album.  I have bought every other album, seen him 74 times in concert (I have ever ticket stub to prove it) and I am hoping that this fall I will be able to go to my 75th show.  I follow him on twitter, and he tweeted over the weekend that he was starting to write for his new album.  That put the biggest smile on my face!

So the next thing that I have been thinking and wondering a lot about is should I or shouldn't I go to my 10 year High School Reunion!?!  I have talked to my two best friends, Jen and Ellen (the three of us all graduated high school together) and we all have conflicting answers on weather if they are going or not.  First, me. I want to go but then I think is it really worth going and seeing the people I really did not kept in touch, even though we are friends on social media networks.  I am sure if I went I would be hanging out with Ellen and Jen (if they go) and maybe the other 10 people I still kind of talk to and not talk to anyone else.  Second, Ellen.  I think she is going because she see's it as you will never had another 10 year reunion; but I know that her husband really wants to go because most of his friends graduated with us.  Last but never lease Jen;  She said that she is not going at all, she has no interest in going, except that it is going to be a a brewery.  She said she really cares about what Ellen and I are up to and she talks to us at lease once a week.  I am still sitting on the bubble, because I feel the same way as both of them.  I would honestly rather go out for a nice dinner as 3 couples and enjoy our time together.  I have 3ish weeks to decided on if I am going or not.

Living in the south for the past 19 years you would think that I am use to the summer southern storms.  The past week we have had some killer ones this week.  Everyday around 2pm the rain thunder and lighting until about 6:30.  But today has been the worse since the summer started!  The storm has not ended since 2pm.  And of course the Direct TV is out because of the storm so I am catching up on DVR TV, which works for me!  It would be kind of nice to be able to watch the Braves, but I will survive!

Any one have any advice on a 10 year reunion or an artist that they love that I should check out?

Tuesday Link-Up's (me myself & I)

My Beautiful, Crazy Life

Happy Tuesday Everyone!  This Tuesday I am going linking up with 6 different ladies for the first ever me myself & I link-up party.  I love these questions and can not wait for you all to read my responses.

1.  What is your BIGGEST phobia?
Ant's!  I know that sounds crazy, I do not want to know if there is a technical term for a fear of ant's but if there is, my photo would be right next to the definition.  With ant's if you see one outside, in your outside BBQ, or heaven-forbid in your house you know that there are 100 more following and I think that is what creeps me out!

2.  If you could relive any day of your life, what would it be and why?
I am sure if I ever get married and or have children the day would change.  But as of right now Graduating from GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY!  It was just a great day! I finally received my degree in Printing Management and two minors in Spanish and Art and I got to do with with family watching, in my favorite place in the world (Paulson Stadium) and then after the ceremony my parents threw a huge graduation party for Jason and I and we both got to celebrate with friends and family!  (If I had met Bryan that day: the day would of been perfect)

3.  If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be?
25 years old! So many great things happened that year.  I graduated from college, I found my job that I am at right now and absolutely love, I bought my first house and I feel like I finally found out who I am and what I should be doing on this earth.  It was a sense of independence I finally had and to finally be an adult.

4.  Which celebrity do you get mistaken for?
I do not think anyone has ever said I looked like a celebrity.  I guess that may be a good thing.... who knows!

5.  What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life?
This is a hard one!  I love love love music.  I am sure my co-workers love and hate (mostly because of my singing) that I have pandora on the radio 99.5% of the day!  But the songs that I feel I live by are?
  1. Elton John - Tiny Dancer
  2. Matt Nathanson - Princess and To The Beat of Our Noisy Hearts
  3. John Mayer - Neon
  4. Tim McGraw - Live Like You Were Dying
  5.  Alanis Morissette - Forgiven
  6. Corey Smith - 21 (2003)
  7. Jump, Little Children - 15 stories, Habit and Not Today
  8. .moe - Happy Hour Hero
  9. Hootie & the Blowfish - Only Lonely
  10. Jack Johnson - Banana Pancakes
Loved this Link Up!  Can not wait to read other bloggers answers and to link up again the next time this link up is up and going!
Have a great day everyone!

Weekend Round-Up

Phew... What a weekend!!!

The weekend started in Athens (Point A on the map above) and Bryan and I had a wonderful date night on Friday.  We went out for dinner then did a little shopping and then had some fro-yo at Menchies.

While shopping Bryan ended up buying a new camera and of course I couldn't find anything I needed that was practical.  I do not think he has realized how excited I am with the camera he bought.  We finally bought a "tough" camera.  We can finally stop buying disposable waterproof camera for on the boat, lake, or tubing.  And now I do not have to worry about my camera getting smooched, dropped, stepped on, and or at all getting wet while tailgating with all of the kids and drunk adults that are around our area!!  I have been eying a tough camera for myself for years but was never able to justify buying one since I try to be careful with my electronics. (my last camera I had before i bought a new one last summer lasted all 6 years in college (bar years and all) and 2 years of lake/normal wear and tear, and I still have the original iPod (mac only) that still works).

On Saturday we had family weekend with Bryan Unit.  I finally got to meet the men and women in his unit.  He talks about these people all the time and it is finally nice to put a face with a name.  We were given a tour of the base he does his training at, was able to sit in some of the vehicles the use during training and then we all went bowling as a huge group!  Yes, I am going to brag a little, I beat Bryan and two of his buddies bowling!

After bowling and military time Bryan and I headed back to my house (point B on the map) for dinner and a movie night which we watched the Dark Night. I was surprised on how good it was! I have never been a "movie" person and I would recommend it to people if they were looking for a movie to rent or see.  We actually bought it a few weeks ago because Bryan really wants to see the Dark Knight rises and he said that I had to see the first one to understand the second one.  It is still a little heartbreaking knowing that was the last movie Heath Ledger made and that some of the voice overs and or re-shoots were not him.  But after seeing the Dark Knight I am really excited about seeing the second one next weekend when B and I see it on our day off from work we are taking together!

After our quick sleep we got up very early and drove our way to Guyton, GA (point C) on the map.  (yes we did all of this driving all in one weekend)  We went down to Guyton to celebrate AG's (my little niece) 3rd birthday.  She had a horse themed party.  That little girl got so much horse stuff she might need to get a stable for all of her toy horses.  I can not explain all of the stuff she got.  The cutest was when she was opening a gift from Sarah and Michael and it was art-work for her bedroom and it had little cowgirl boots and a horse on each of the prints and she looked at it, mouth open and dropped to the floor and said "OH MY GOODNESS" in the best little 3 year old voice ever!  She was so excited and overwhelmed by the artwork it was probably the one thing I will remember from the party and it was that one comment everyone will be saying for weeks!  Yes, I was the lame aunt and got her an IOU for some new Georgia Southern gear from the book store for football season.  But Bryan got her some puzzles and a UGA jersey and beads to wear when she is watching football with her daddy!  After the party Bryan and I drove back to my house at point B on the map.  Made it back and went right to bed.  The poor man had to get up at 5am to be at work (point A) by 7am.

Phew!  After last weekend I am warn the hell out!!  I am glad that things are starting to wind down after a few busy weekends!  We have just a few more crazy weekends but we will not be traveling as much as we had this past weekend.  Hoping for a good week at work and a little gym and down time the next few days!

Happy Monday and hope everyone had as good as weekend as I did!

Friday's (13th) Letters

Photobucket

Happy Friday the 13th everyone!  Once again I am linking up with Ashely with her Friday's Letters.  This is one of my favorite link-ups that I try and participate in as often as I can. (PS there is a little bit of venting in this one... sorry)

  • Dear Friday the 13th: Please be kind to me on this last work day of this past crazy week and my travels toady.
  • Dear Weekend:  I know you are going to be a busy one but please make it an easy and stress free one!
  • Dear Ms. AG:  Happy 3rd Birthday, I cant believe what a little lady you are turning out to be, I can not wait to see you on Sunday for your party!!
  • Dear Men that I work with:  How hard is it to change the toilet paper or paper towel roll once you are done using it!  I am sure your wifes and or girlfriends make you change it why can't you change the roll at our place of work!?!?
  • Dear Complainers/Freeloaders:  I am sick of listening/hearing you BITCH about how poor and or broke you are.  But then have the extra cash to go out and spend all your money on dumb crap like coloring books, movies, fro-yo and big screen TV's.  I am sure we the people are the ones paying for your EBT because you do not want to work a real job!  Grow the hell up, get a real job and act like an adult!!!
  • Dear Direct TV:  I am not upset that you and Viacom are still battling over their stations.  (I may of been when I was the age of 14-24) but I am thanking you for making your 20 million households that use Direct TV just a little bit smarter because they can not watch shows like "Jersery Shore" "Mob Wives" and other crap television (and believe me there is a lot of crap TV, i got suckered into RHNJ last night for 3 episodes and felt my brain cells floating away).  I hope that these young people and others who watch that crap pick up a book; read; and use the brain the have in that head of theirs!
  • Dear Justin Timberlake (my car):  You really did bring SEXY BACK!!  I love the extra sparkle you have now that you are painted and new looking!
  • Dear Mom and Dad:  Your the best, thanks for having me over for dinner Tuesday night, it was good just to hang out the three of us and let my Only Child Syndrome kick in!
  • Dear Bryan:  Thank you for listening and being there for me and taking me to Jackson's on Wednesday.  I can not wait until family day this weekend and our day trip to Savannah!  It is going to be a GREAT weekend
I hope everyone has a great weekend!

So What! Wednesday

Hey Y'all.  This is my second time linking up with "So What Wednesdays" with Shannon.  This is one of my favorite link-ups that I try to participate in ever week.  I do not have many things that I am so whating but the things I do are all are related to one person.  (hoping she doesn't read this, but I am sure she is and I hope she realizes that it is about her)

This week I am saying so what if...
  • Your jealous of what B and I have and the things we do together.
  • Every time I go into Coach I end up buying something.
  • I am pretending to be your friend right now
  • Your jealous and will not admit it to me: but you will admit it up and down to others.
  • I know you tell "her" everything that I have said to you.  Your a mean girl because of it!
  • That blog about friendship attempts is about you;  I was told to write it to get things off my chest!
My venting is done about that mean girl.  Now to finish my day and have a great dinner at Jackson with Bryan!

Widespread Wednesday 7.11.12

Happy Wednesday Y'all!  Its the middle of the work week and already it feels like this week has been dragging on.  Last weekend was a pretty relaxing weekend, as you read in yesterdays post.  This next weekend is going to be a little busy if I do say so myself.  But the things that I am wild about this Wednesday are....

This weekend is Family weekend from Bryan's Army Unit, based in Athens Georgia.  I know most people would not be as excited about going to a Family Day with their spouse, kids, significant other, boy or girl friend or heck even a family.  But this is the first time that I will be able to meet some of his Military buddies that he speaks so highly of.
And of course I am excited because we get to go BOWLING with everyone, kids included.  I am really hoping that I enjoy my time with these men and women I am going to be meeting for the first time this weekend and hopefully since we all do live fairly close to each other get together more often then when Bryan goes to drill or does military related things with his Unit.

Does it seam like everyone has a birthday in the month of July.  This year my group has 5 July birthdays.  I am not sure why there are so many summer birthdays or at lease we are celebrating so many summer birthdays this year. I am not complaining about celebrating birthdays because I love to party and have a good time but this month its just week after week after week!  On Sunday Bryan and I are going to be traveling to Savannah area to celebrate my niece's 3rd birthday!  It feels like just yesterday Alex and I were planning Cara's baby shower for Ms. AG!  I am excited to see everyone at her party.  And then next week we will be celebrating Bryan's Birthday and the week after we will have a group adult party at the lake for Alex, Nick and Michael!  Very excited about what that weekend is turning out to be!

What are you wild about this Wednesday!?!
Hope everyone is having a great afternoon!

Weekend Wrap-Up!

So the weekend is officially over (i know i know i am a day late... I am still on relax mode from the week) and what an odd week it has been. We celbrated the 4th of July and AMERICA 3 times this year with fireworks and its been non stop crazyness since the last weekend of June!  I have been officially thrown off all of last week because of the Wednesday Holiday!  Lets just hope next year when the 4th lands on a Thursday the Boss Man will give us Friday off also!  (that would be epic!!).

Over the weekend I finally got to pick up Justin at the Macco.  I am super excited to be back int he comfort of my little blue car then in my parents Honda Pilot.  I guess I have been driving a sedan way to long and not use to sitting up high in an SUV.  Macco did a really nice job with the painting of the car.  You would have no idea that the roof and trunk were peeling from the sunlight.

(a little rant about macco.  Sorry) I have to say, I know its Macco and its usually the cheaper place to go for car and collision on an automobile.  The paint job its self looks great and I hope that it will last 2-3 years (until I can pay cash for a new car) but the customer service / "little things" were totally off.  They left tape on the bottom of my car where they had to tape off some of the siding.  Never mentioned you couldn't put your car through the wash for about a month (lucky Bryan called).  Over painted on my back tires.  And did put my sun visor back on my car along with not giving me back the screws they used to take it off.  I know that these are little things, and I should be glad that my car looks new for a 9ish year old car, but come on, I use that sun visor to find my car in parking lots and did he really think I was going to know what kind of screw it was that went into the sun visor.  I am sure if I was a man I'd know the screw size and have one in my house, but I'm not a man!!

But for the rest of Satruday and Sunday Bryan and I left it pretty up in the air.  Bryan finally got his new bumper (which weighed 1,000 lbs (kidding)) on his Land Rover and his truck is now looking pretty again.  You would think driving a Rover they would use a nice solid bumper not a cheap plastic one that falls apart after a few years.  It blows my mind how much lighter his old stock bumper was.  I was able to lift it myself.  But when I recieved the new fance bumper from UPS, I had to have the UPS driver and one of our pressmen help me get it into my moms car (another reason I was driving her pilot last week).

Him and I went to the UGA booksore and I picked out some T-shirts for the games and to lounge around his house in.  We also picked out for my neices birthday a UGA jersey and beads so when she is watching UGA football with her Daddy (who is a HUGE UGA fan) she can match his outfit.  Bryan also picked out some things from the book store.  I am not sure where he plans on wearing all of this black and red stuff, since we will be going to to Georgia Southern for a lot of their football games!  While we were not out buying black and red nonsence and fixing our cars we watched the Braves, some Nascar (which I beat his butt in our nascar pool) and caught up on some TV.  It was a great weekend for him and I just to chill and hang out, especially with the next 4 weeks will be GO-GO-GO
  • Military Family Weekend and my Neices b-day in Savannah
  • Atlanta for Bryans Birthday and Kellys Housewarming Party
  • Lake Weekend with my Georgia Southern Friends
  • RNRC in Alabama with Jen
Phew! I'm already exhausted thinking about the next few weekends!

I hope everyone had as good of a weekend as I did!

    Social Sunday Week 5

    Sunday Social

Again on Sunday I am linking up with Neely and Ashley for one of my favorite link-ups that I have taken part in since I have started blogging.  This Sunday the questions are about Television.  TV is such a guilty pleasure for me and I know I watch way to much!
Favorite TV show of the past:
Some of my past favorites are:
Desperate Housewives, Sex in the City, 24, Beverly Hills 90210 (original cast 1990-2000), Gilmore Girls, Save by the Bell, TRL (Total Request Live), Greek (abc family), The Hills, Laguna Beach, Daria and Making the Band (the original season with O-town).  I am sure that I am dating myself with some of these shows.

    Favorite TV show currently:
Once again I can not pick one: But the shows I have to watch and not DVR are:
Criminal Minds (my world stops for that show), Bones, American Ninja Warrior, Glee, Pretty Little Liars, True Blood, Big Bang Theory, Newsroom, Chopped, and Girls

Which Reality Show would you NEVER do?
Probably Survivor.  I do not think that I would make it out in the wilderness and American Ninja Warrior (Bryan and I's favorite new show)

Which Reality Show would you LOVE to do?
Amazing Race with my mom (she a flight attendant and flies international flight's and she is great getting around new cities and reading maps) and when I was younger I really wanted to be on the real world of MTV

TV personality/character that you feel is most like you?
A few of my friends would say Jess from New Girl or Lauren Conrad on Laguna Beach when I was in college.  For Jess, I lived with two boys, I am kind of nerdy, and (before I met Bryan) I have always been a little social awkward around men and when I am not feeling in my element. And LC, my last few years in college kind of reminded me of Laguna Beach/The Hills with some of the drama I went through.  I was pretty convinced that MTV should of taped a reality show called "The Boro" and followed me from my 4th-6th year of college.
And I would say right now a little bit of a mix between Max Black and Caroline Channing from 2 Broke Girls.  I like to think that I have the sarcasm, rude and crude humor of Max and the life/social skills of Caroline.

Which TV Character would you want to date?
Agent Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler), Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) and or Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard)

I hope that everyone is having a great Sunday and is enjoying a the link up.  Can not wait to read everyone else's responses.

    Follow Back Friday Y'all

    Hey Y’all

This Friday I am also linking up with Hollie for her #Follow Friday (#FF kind of like on twitter). Her link up takes place on the first Friday of every month! Everyone should take a look at it and see if there are any new blogs out there that may peek your interest! I think this a great idea, especially for bloggers like me who are new still trying to get their feet wet on the whole blogging thing and hoping to find some new blogs to follow and new followers also!

    Household Rivalry

    Good Evening Kiddos!

The house divided series is over between Bryan and I. We ended up tying the series, 2 cubbies wins and 2 braves wins. I guess November's football game will be the tie breaker, unless the cubs win every game from now until October, which i don't see that happening! But I'm sure he will win the house divided series in football (oh well it's expected).

    July 4th 2012

    Good Afternoon y'all!

Right now Bryan and I are waiting around the house until we go and watch fireworks in Athens.  While we were waiting for dark I wanted to share the wreath I made for the holiday. The wreath to the right is the yarn wreath that I made for the 4th of July Holiday that is hanging on the door at my house.  I used a 14" white wreath, wrapped it 3 times with a white yarn.  For the decoration I used two American flag pinwheels and some ribbon that I found at the local craft store.  This year fell in love with the pinwheel's.  It kind of made me feel like a kid when I bought them.

While waiting on the fireworks we have been talking about our past 4th of July's and how we have spent them with friends and families.  This is our first Independence Day that we are spending together.  I am not going to lie, but spending it with him, since he is military, makes this day a lot more special.  I hope that everyone remember that we have our independence because of all of the service men and women.  I hope while everyone who is with their friends and family that they are also thinking about the men and women who have been and are over seas still fighting for our independence.  I hope that lots of watermelon and strawberries are being eaten, people are being safe in travels and bodies of water, that the lightning bugs are lighting up the skyline like the fireworks will be later when it gets dark outside.

Be Safe, thank you to all of our service men and women and Happy 4th of July

    Widespread Wednesday 7.4.12

Happy Wednesday Everyone!  This week is turning out to be one of the oddest weeks with the holiday is the middle of the week due to the 4th of July.  Not complaining about having the day off from work but I am worried that tomorrow (Thursday) is going to feel like a Monday when going into the office!?!    This Wednesday I am wild about three things:

First and foremost all of the Fireworks.  I absolutely in love with fireworks.  I will be able to see fireworks two times this 4th of july.  Last Saturday in Milledgeville and today, in Athens.  They are some of the most beautiful things when they are put off in the correct order along with the colors and or sizes they are made to be.   I wish that it was kosher to that I was able to watch fireworks once a week instead of a few times a year.

Next, I am excited about my car (JT) finally being painted.  I get to pick him up Friday night and or Saturday afternoon!  I can not wait to see what JT will look like with a nice shiny new paint job. He will be all blue, clean and pretty!  I am going to be so excited and not ashamed to drive Mr. Timberlake!!

Lastly is Bryan and I's House Divided matches.  We will always be divided when it comes to football season, especially this year when my GEORGIA SOUTHERN EAGLES go between the hedges to play his University of Georgia Bulldogs (i am a UGA fan except when our teams play each other) in late November.  But the house divided issue came up again this week when the Chicago Cubs came into town and played the Atlanta Braves.  I grew up in Chicago, my parents still have season tickets to the cubs, and it is the only team that existed until I moved to Atlanta.  So we have been in a bitter battle this week about baseball and who has the better team.  So far we are both 1-1 for wins out of four games.  Hopefully the Cubbies can pull the series out.  But on Friday after the Cubs leave town I will be once again a Braves and Cubs Fan!

Happy Wednesday and have a safe 4th of July!
